Diageo announces a plan to contribute to the progress of Latin America

Washington, Dec 4 (EFE).- Diageo, maker of Don Julio tequila and Ypióca cachaça, has announced plans that aim to make an impact on sustainability in Latin America through responsible consumption.STATEMENTS BY THE DIRECTOR OF DIAGEO CORPORATE RELATIONS FOR LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN, JOSAFATH RODRÍGUEZ."We are committed to building a more inclusive and sustainable world in the long term and that is why we have drawn up this 10-year action plan called the Spirit of Progress. It was designed to have a positive impact during this decade of action and to achieve the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. We want to provoke moderation in people who can consume alcohol and zero tolerance for minors. And we certainly want to change people's attitudes towards drinking and driving."
