Mercedes-AMG unveiled their much-anticipated Project One hypercar at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday and it was introduced by none other than F1 legend Lewis Hamilton. The hypercar is said to have a 1.6-litre engine with an output of more than 1,000 horsepower, reaching speed of some 218 miles per hour. The German auto giant is only planning to produce a total of 275 Project One hypercars and they awe-inspiring vehicles will come with a hyper pricetag - 2.275 million euro, or about 2.725 million dollars each, plus applicable taxes.
American car manufacturer Ford will return to Formula One in 2026 with a link-up with world champions Red Bull. The McLaren Senna GTR was unveiled to the public at the Geneva International Motor Show in the Palexpo convention centre on Tuesday. Inspired by Formula 1 icon Ayrton Senna, the $1million supercar is made of lightweight carbon fibre and comes in five colours, including the same yellow and green scheme used by Senna. Each Senna GTR takes over 1,000 hours to produce, which contributes to the eye-watering price tag.
Mercedes-Benz presented its jaw-droppiing hybrid electric Project One supercar at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday. The Project One is inspired by Mercedes' Formula One race-technology and comes with a 1.6-liter V6 hybrid, over 1,000 horsepower, and a blistering fast top speed of nearly 220 miles per hour. Of course, the $2.7 million price tag ensures that the Project One will only end up in the garages of the super wealthy.
