Portugal gatecrashed France's Euro 2016 party to win the European Championship for the first time in its history and all this without leading star Cristiano Ronaldo. A super strike by substitute Edér was the difference between the two teams, who both hit the hit woodwork during the match. 07/07/16 : France played against Germany for the last semifinal of Euro 2016. Thanks to Griezmann, the Blues won the game and can now join Portugal for the last step of the competition. It is an historical match since France has not won against Germany since a few years.
16th June : England played against Wales in Lens. Both teams made a great match. The Welch manage their effort facing the young English team. The last ones finally scored a second time at the very end of the game. Hence, England both win the game and got first of its groupe.

The victorious players and triumphant coach Fernando Santos paraded through the Portuguese capital on the back of an open-top bus, accompanied by the wild cheers of thousands of fans. They then entered the Presidential palace, where they were to be formally received by Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
