Angela Merkel's conservative CDU party picks her ally Armin Laschet as its next leader, in a key vote that kicks off the race for Germany's top job as a deadly pandemic roils Europe's biggest economy. Indiana Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb is projected to win the Indiana Governors race. According to Business Insider and Decision Desk HQ Holcomb crushed Democratic challenger Woody Myers. Polls in Indiana closed at 6 p.m. ET. Experts rate the race as solid Republican. Holcomb won 708,894, which equals roughly 60.00% of the vote. Myers got less than 27% of the vote. Holcomb has been Governor of Indiana since 2017, when Indiana Gov. Mike Pence resigned to become Vice President of the United States.

Toyota's spectacular GR Super Sport concept was unveiled at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon last weekend.
