A search operation is underway at the crash site of the Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 near Bishoftu, a town some 60 kilometres southeast of Addis Ababa. The aircraft crashed minutes after an early-morning takeoff, killing all eight crew and 149 passengers on board, including tourists, business travellers, and at least one delegate to a UN meeting. Footage emerged of the aftermath of the scene of a train crash at New Jersey's Hoboken terminal, which killed at least one person and left 108 injured earlier on Thursday.
