Benedict Cumberbatch Releases Moving Message About Refugees

Description

British actor Benedict Cumberbatch recorded a video in support of Save the Children this week, which aims to provide relief and support to young refugees. The 39-year-old Cumberbatch recorded the video for Save the Children's Help Is Coming campaign, which supports the relief efforts for young refugees from Syria and nearby countries. Cumberbatch, himself a new father, began his message by delivering a moving quote from a Warsan Shire poem entitled "Home." He also says in the message, "As people watching this tragedy unfold from the safety of our homes, with our safe children, we want to say that we see you, we hear you, and help is coming."
