Basketball star and former husband of Khloe Kardashian is in very bad shape and is fighting for his life after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel and then rushed to a hospital in Pahrump and later transferred to A Las Vegas Hospital. There is a question as to whether drugs were a cause as E! News and other networks are reporting a drug overdose. We know he is on life support and there is a question as to whether he will survive or suffer brain damage from this tragedy. We wish him and his family prayers for his recovery.
NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg says that the US-led defence alliance's European members are making "real progress" on their defence spending, with 2024 set to be the first year their spending amounts to "two percent of their combined GDP". Stoltenberg's comments come after Donald Trump rattled the alliance by saying he would "encourage" Russia to attack members who were not meeting the two percent obligation. SOUNDBITE
