Apple Rejected a Gravity App for Being “Not Appropriate”

Description

Apple is excited about the 3D Touch technology that debuted in the Apple Watch (then called Force Touch) before making its way to the new iPhones last month. This feature lets you assign different actions to harder and softer presses on the screen, and there’s an API for developers to take advantage of it. App developer Ryan McLeod put together a neat little app called Gravity for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that used 3D Touch to turn the device into a tiny scale. A scale app like Gravity was “not appropriate” for inclusion in the App Store.
