Seven people were killed, including two children, with 12 more injured when 7 gunmen armed with assault rifles stormed Roosevelt Hospital in Guatemala City to free a jailed gang leader during a medical check-up on Wednesday. The gangster, identified as 29-year-old Anderson Daniel Cabrera Cifuentes, an alleged member of the notorious Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13 gang, was brought to the hospital by three guards for a general check-up at 8:19 AM local time.
