Nicki Minaj Talks Engagement Rumors, Posing Topless for Billboard Magazine

Apparently Nicki Minaj doesn’t necessarily need to be engaged to be swimming in diamonds. The 33-year-old rapper and her 28-year-old boyfriend, fellow hip-hop artist Meek Mill, sparked engagement rumors in April when she revealed a 15-carat yellow heart-shaped sparkler surrounded by a double halo of tiny diamonds. Speculation the two plan to wed mounted further this week when Minaj showed off a birthday present he gave her, a ring made up of a clear, enormous diamond set in a single halo on an eternity band. Minaj told Billboard magazine, which features her on Dec. 19 "Year in Music 2015" issue, posing topless, "He and I are not engaged. But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married." The rapper's comments were posted on the outlet's website on Thursday and were made before her birthday. "My birthday's coming up, and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday.” Minaj told Billboard she and her boyfriend have discussed how they are in a high-profile relationship and sought advice from another high-profile couple,Beyoncé and Jay Z. She said about her beau, "I don't know what's going to happen with he and I. I just know right now we are really, really enjoying each other's company."
