Author Jayne Anne Phillips on fusing fact and fiction in ‘Quiet Dell’

Critically-acclaimed writer Jayne Anne Phillips talks to Richelle Harrison Plesse about her latest work "Quiet Dell", to be released in France next month. The novel is based on the true story of a man dubbed "the Lonely Hearts Killer" and the grisly, multiple-murders he committed. In Depression-era America, Harry Powers preyed on vulnerable, widowed women looking for a second chance at love, conning his way into their lives and luring them to their deaths.
