Ivory Coast faces uphill battle against counterfeit medicine

Description

In Ivory Coast, the trafficking of fake and contraband medicine is a serious public health problem. Up to 40% of medical products bought in the country are picked up on the streets. The country is now stepping up the fight against the illegal trade, as our team on the ground reports.
