The Oscars do not have your average Executive Producers creating the show. That is why they choose from the cream of the crop as in Jennifer Todd and Mike De Luca. They sit down and talk to us and give us some insight into the big night. They tell us what makes the Oscars a great telecast, how the nominated films shape the show and what it means to them to be the Producers. They also give us a little inside insight on the set design and production for this special 2017 Oscar night. Listen in and definitely enjoy this years 89th Academy Awards.
Oscar Isaac, Idris Elba, Ice Cube, Dakota Johnson, America Ferrera, Emma Watson, Vivica A. Fox, Tom Hiddleston, Eva Mendes, Michael B. Jordan, Rose Byrne and Brie Larson were all inducted into the new 683 strong class of artist given invites to become members of The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences. Among the invites, 41% were people of color and 46% were female which will make for a much more interesting 2017 Oscars. It was a long time in coming but we applaud the Academy for their bold move that fully embraces everyone.
