"Chappelle's Show" is no longer on Netflix and Dave Chappelle is happy about it. The comedian opened up in a video posted to Instagram about the streaming service's move. He says the decision came at his request, according to reports at CNN. Chappelle says the contract he signed allows for his show to stream without additional payment to him. As the creator, star, and executive producer, he takes issue with that. Chappelle has been part of the Netflix fold since 2016 and he is thankful they have respected his wishes.

On Monday, Netflix announced "The Queen's Gambit" is its biggest limited series yet. Business Insider reports the series was watched by 62 million households in its first 28 days. It debuted on Nielsen's latest list of top streaming titles at No. 10. 551 million minutes watched over its premiere weekend. For comparison, Netflix said last year that "Stranger Things" season three was watched by 64 million households.
Elle magazine is reporting that Netflix has cancelled the Hillary Swank space drama "Away." In the series, Swank plays the conflicted Commander Emma Green. She leads the first-ever human mission to Mars, leaving behind her family. "Away" is not the only show Netflix cancelled recently. It also axed "GLOW" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." The show was expensive and intricate to produce, as space sequences took days to plot and choreograph.
Selena's story is coming to Netflix in December. The Tejano music star's life and death will be chronicled in the series. The streaming service made the announcement on Tuesday and released a trailer for the upcoming show. According to CNN, "Selena: The Series" will debut on December 4. Actress Christian Serratos, best known for her role in "The Walking Dead," stars as the singer. The singer was shot and killed on March 31, 1995. She was 23.
Eddie Murphy is in talks with Netflix to film a series of comedy specials in a deal worth $70 million.
