  • Motion Picture Academy Finally Embraces Minorities And Women

    Oscar Isaac, Idris Elba, Ice Cube, Dakota Johnson, America Ferrera, Emma Watson, Vivica A. Fox, Tom Hiddleston, Eva Mendes, Michael B. Jordan, Rose Byrne and Brie Larson were all inducted into the new 683 strong class of artist given invites to become members of The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences. Among the invites, 41% were people of color and 46% were female which will make for a much more interesting 2017 Oscars. It was a long time in coming but we applaud the Academy for their bold move that fully embraces everyone.
