Lawsuit Filed Against WhatsApp in German Court

Description

This week, a lawsuit was filed against WhatsApp in German court over privacy concerns related to the way it collects and shares data with its parent company Facebook. Back in August 2016, WhatsApp wrote in a blog post that it will change its terms and privacy policy to coordinate more with Facebook. However, following the announcement, privacy advocates in the European Union were reportedly not happy.
