Beauty Products I'm Afraid To Try

Description

Do you ever see products that seem weird but curiosity wins and you have to see if they actually work? Well, over the summer I've collected some weird products that push beyond the limits of what I'm used to. Let's talk about them, and let me know what products you're afraid to try but show a lot of promise!Subscribe Here! http://bit.ly/SubscribeToCloudyApplesInstagram: http://instagram.com/cloudyapples_Blog: http://www.cloudyapples.ca/Twitter: http://twitter.com/CloudyApplesFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/realcloudyapplesYouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/cloudyapples1. Luna Pad Panty Liners: http://lunapads.com/lunapads/pantyliners-I really like the idea of throwing away less product every month, and how economical these appear to be. I'm a little weirded out about the idea of not throwing feminine products out immediately after. So we'll see how it goes! Let me know if you use these! I intend on using these only on very light days, as I did not buy the heavier version.2. Brushing teeth with activated charcoal for whitening-I have a few friends who do this, but I wasn't the biggest fan. It was super messy and I was worried about swallowing too much of it. Charcoal is used in hospitals because it prevents absorption of drugs and medications, so be careful if you choose to try this.3. Mizon All-In-One Snail Repair Cream: http://peachandlily.com/products/all-in-one-snail-repair-cream-The premise of this product is that the trail that snails leave behind is potentially very healing and nourishing for the skin. It's a popular ingredient in Korean skincare, and snails are not hurt in the making of this product. I've found the finish of it to be sticky at first, but smooth and flawless once it absorbs.4. Baby Quasar Clear Rayz: http://www.babyquasar.com/products/detail/clear-rayz-acne-This treats acne and inflammation with light therapy rather than creams. I've had light therapy during facials and really enjoyed it, and I hope this product turns out to be as effective. This video is not sponsored.-~-~~-~~~-~~-~-I Have A New GAMING CHANNEL! • Selena Gomez's New Beauty Line Challenges The Norm

World Mental Health Day is on October 10. In honor of the day, CNN Style spoke with Selena Gomez, an advocate for mental health awareness. The singer and actor has been open about her own mental health challenges, and sometimes feeling "less than," due to the pressures that come along with becoming famous at a young age. She explains, "It's hard enough for anyone during those early years but imagine it with the world judging you and commenting on every aspect of your life and choices." Selena wants to use her voice to reduce the stigma associated with talking about mental health, and to encourage people to celebrate their individualism. The goal of her new beauty line, Rare Beauty, is to challenge beauty norms and celebrating what each person unique. She adds "Since the start of Rare Beauty, my team and I have been building a community to have positive conversations around self-acceptance and mental health." A percentage of the sales go to Selena's Rare Impact Fund, which helps underserved communities access to the mental health resources and services. Their goal is to raise $100 million over the next ten years. She adds, "We all need to embrace our uniqueness, stop comparing ourselves to others, and love ourselves more, especially right now."
