Suspected Terror Attack in Germany Leaves Nine People Dead

A rental truck plowed into a Christmas Market on Monday evening in the city of Berlin, Germany, leaving at least nine people are dead and as many as 50 injured in a suspected terror attack. Soon after the incident occurred, police arrested one suspect in the attack and said that they are investigating whether he was the driver of the vehicle. A second occupant that was found in the truck was reported to be dead. Police have not formally given a motive to the incident, but it is reminiscent of a similar attack that happened in Nice, France when a terrorist drove a truck into a crowd of people, killing 86.
