Poll Says Majority of Americans Are Pessimistic About Trump

Description

According to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, 54 percent of adults say they are either uncertain or pessimistic and worried about how Donald Trump will perform during his presidency. The poll adds that 45 percent of Americans are either optimistic or confident about Trump. While views on the president-elect are unfavorable, Americans add in the poll that they are more optimistic that the U.S. economy will improve in 2017 with forty-two percent saying they believe the economy will get better, while only 19 percent say the economy will get worse.
