Description

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is visiting President Donald Trump in Washington next week, and there has been a lot of speculation about where President Trump stands on some issues regarding Israel. Recently, his administration questioned new Israeli settlements and there are reports that he "may be reconsidering an earlier push to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem." Netanyahu and Trump are expected to discuss these issues as well as concerns about Iran.

The UN and European Union describe Western Sahara as a 'non-self-governing territory.' Political and security risk consultant Geoff Porter says the US' abrupt reversal of its policy dramatically increases the likelihood of renewed regional conflict.
