Mexico declares health emergency as COVID-19 confirmed cases surge past 1,000

Mexico City, Mar 30 (EFE).- Mexico declared a health emergency on Monday and announced strict measures to contain the spread of coronavirus, including the suspension od all nonessential activities in both public and private sectors until Apr. 30, after its number of confirmed cases surged to 1,094, with 28 related deaths.
