Empty streets as Singapore enters 1st day of 'circuit breaker' mode

Singapore, Apr 7 (EFE/EPA).- Singapore sees empty trains, closed workplaced and quiet streets on Tuesday as the government puts in place a "circuit breaker" to curb escalating Covid-19 infections.Series of 'Circuit Breaker' measures requires all non-essential businesses to close and restrict public gatherings.All schools will move to full home-based learning on April 8.
