Phnom Penh / Bangkok / Colombo, May 6 (EFE/EPA).- Various countries across Asia on Wednesday celebrated the Buddhist Vesak Day, the anniversary of Buddha's enlightenment, with ceremonies that have specially been adjusted this year to follow the social-distancing measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Vesak Day or Visakha Bucha, is one of the holiest days in Buddhism to commemorate the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Buddha.
