France’s beaches reopen to swimming and fishing in some areas as gov’t tries to restart tourism

Description

As the French government unveiled its “Marshall plan” to save the country’s tourism industry, some beaches across France reopened again to locals, allowing some to swim, fish and sometimes practicing sports, though sunbathing is still forbidden. French are still forbidden to travel past 100km from their homes but locals can now enjoy the coast if they abide to social distancing measures, in order to continue the Covid-19 fall.
