France marks 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe day amid coronavirus lockdown

Description

France celebrates the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, when the Allies accepted Germany’s unconditional surrender on May 8. Commemorations take place all over the European continent, but have been scaled down given the coronavirus outbreak and consequent lockdown measures taken by countries. As World War II veterans are now in an advanced age, parades were considered too risky, but French President Emmanuel Macron is leading events nevertheless.

Pharmaceutical companies ask and demand, even before distributing the vaccines, that there be specific legislation in the countries that are going to receive them that says that in case of side effects the Government takes over. For this it has been necessary to pass laws, we have approved two".- "Many have been invited (to be vaccinated) and have not shown up, let's hope they show up.
