September 5th marked the first public appearance of the new Lexus RC coupe, almost a month ahead of its world premiere at Paris Motor Show 2018, at a pop-up event hosted in partnership with up-and-coming chef Andreas Møller of the restaurant Copenhague on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. The new, reimagined RC blends comfort refinements with the latest Lexus signature design cues and sharper driving dynamics, drawing its inspiration from the LC flagship luxury coupe. The improvements featured in the new RC are a perfect embodiment of Lexus’ “YET” philosophy, giving the car a distinctive “sharp yet smooth” character, demonstrating how seemingly contrasting qualities can come together to brilliant effect. The sharpness can be found in RC’s more direct, responsive handling and bold design features, while the refined self-charging hybrid powertrain and interior finish enhancements express its smoothness.

With a focus on providing the same dynamic and luxurious driving performance for which the flagship LC 500 coupe is known, the 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible made its its European Debut. Expanding the aspirational two-door LC family, the LC 500 Convertible offers an additional way to stimulate the senses - with the top down. The exterior of the new LC Convertible stylishly blends the coupe's unique roofline with the character of a convertible, achieving an exquisite profile with the top open or closed.The Lexus LC 500 Convertible echoes the coupe's "Even Sharper, More Refined" driving characteristics, with a low center of gravity, optimal weight distribution, and a focus on performance-minded handling thanks to impressive structural rigidity. Lexus engineers relied on computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis and real-world driving evaluation to match the driving qualities of its coupe counterpart, and the extensive research and development yielded impressive results.Engineers aimed to retain similar handling dynamics to the LC 500 coupe while also improving chassis rigidity with the addition and relocation of various structural braces. The LC Convertible's suspension is tuned specifically to complement the subtle changes in weight between the two platforms, as a reduction of un-sprung weight in the front suspension improves the overall stroke. In the rear, engineers were able to further enhance structural rigidity by reshaping and relocating the rear suspension brace tower. Weight was reduced in the rear of the vehicle by utilizing a lightweight die-cast aluminum suspension brace, while a performance dampener is employed to enhance ride comfort.
In 2018, the all-new seventh-generation Lexus ES redefined its status among entry-level luxury sedans with a striking exterior design and transformative performance made possible by the Global Architecture–K (GA-K) platform. For the 2022 model year, the new ES family builds upon this recipe for success with numerous multimedia, safety, style, and color updates. Additional enhancements to F SPORT models include a new Dynamic Handling Package and the introduction of a new ES 300h F SPORT trim available in select regions. With the added variety, the ES Family continues to offer Lexus guests choices to fit their diverse interests and lifestyles.All Lexus interiors are designed to blend a driver-centric cockpit with spacious and comfortable areas for the passengers. This concept was introduced in the LC coupe, refined in the flagship LS sedan and was expanded to the seventh-generation ES. Lexus calls this concept “Seat in Control,” a simple idea that says, from the moment you get in, all the controls you need are within reach and all the information you want is in plain view. In true Lexus fashion, the 2022 ES embraces continuous improvement with human-centered updates to the Lexus Multimedia System and available Navigation System. The standard 8.0-inch and available 12.3-inch color multimedia displays have been moved forward 4.3-inches and now feature touch-screen functionality, in addition to the remote touch interface, for intuitive driver and front passenger interaction. Additional interior updates for 2022 include a streamlined instrument panel design that embraces seamless cabin integration.
