Images published by the Russian Defence Ministry show a military arts troupe wearing WWII military uniforms and performing a musical and dance show for peacekeepers responsible for monitoring the Lachin corridor. Some 2,000 Russian peacekeepers are deployed between the two sides and along this 60-kilometre (35-mile) route through the district that connects Karabakh's main city Stepanakert to Armenia. IMAGES

Images show the road into the main city of the Nagorno-Karabakh region, known as Stepanakert in Armenian and Khankendi in Azeri. Members of the Armenian Church pray for Nagorno-Karabakh refugees at a service held in the St Sargis church in Yerevan. Armenian separatists, who had controlled the region for three decades, agreed to disarm, dissolve their government and reintegrate with Baku following a one-day Azerbaijani offensive last week. Nearly all of Karabakh's estimated 120,000 residents fled the territory over the following days, sparking a refugee crisis. IMAGES
People fleeing Nagorno-Karabakh continue to flow into the Armenian town of Goris as the number of displaced people reaches 80,000. Nagorno-Karabakh's long and bloody dream of independence ended on Thursday with a decree declaring that the ethnic Armenian statelet in Azerbaijan "ceases to exist" at the end of the year. IMAGES
