Facebook will begin removing all content that mentions the phrase "stop the steal". This comes a full 69 days after Election Day, according to reports at CNN. There have been continued attempts to organize events against the outcome of the US presidential election. Many of them have lead to violence, like the terror attacks on the Capitol recently. "We're taking this additional step in the lead up to the inauguration," says Guy Rosen, Facebook's VP of integrity. "Stop the steal" has become popular among Trump supporters that believe false claims of election fraud.

Grave concern is growing among senior White House advisers about the people President Donald Trump has been listening to lately. CNN reports Trump has turned to a fringe group of advisers peddling increasingly dubious tactics to overturn the results of the election. That's generated new levels of uncertainty at how Trump will resist the coming end of his tenure. The coterie includes conspiracist lawyer Sidney Powell, disgraced former national security adviser Michael Flynn, and onetime chief strategist Steve Bannon. Other voices in Trump's ear are those from hawkish trade adviser Peter Navarro and the eccentric founder of the retail website Overstock. Sources close to the President say his advisers are particularly worried about what Powell may convince him to do in the coming days. Through it all, Trump has mostly abandoned the day-to-day running of government.

Christie told Martha Radditz on ABC's 'This Week' that the team's approach to overturning the election results was 'an absurdity.' It's an absurd idea to think that any state, or any number of states, no matter how good they are, can challenge another state's right to run the election as they see fit. In addition to Paxton, 17 state attorneys general and 126 Congressional Republicans had signed an amicus brief backing the lawsuit. "The reason the Supreme Court is not taking this is not because of a lack of courage. It's for the same reason that every court has thrown this out. It's a lack of evidence and a lack of any type of legal theory that makes any sense."
Former Trump administration cybersecurity official Chris Krebs is considering taking legal action against Joe diGenova. Krebs drew President Donald Trump's wrath when he defied Trump's claims of voter fraud, saying the 2020 election 'was the most secure in American history.' DiGenova is a Trump campaign lawyer, who Trump recruited after seeing him on Fox News. In an interview on 'The Howie Carr Show' on Monday, diGenova pubicly called Krebs an 'idiot' and a 'class-A moron,' and called for his execution. ...He should be drawn and quartered. Taken out at dawn and shot.
