Kathmandu, Sep 3 (EFE/EPA).- Nepalese hindu devotees clashed with riot police Thursday in Kathmandu while celebrating the Rato Machindranath chariot festival procession amid lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Rato Machhindranath festival, which pays homage to the rain diety of the same name, features a procession with a 32-foot high wooden chariot, was suspended more than a month ago due to the coronavirus pandemic.
