5G autonomous robot joins fight against COVID-19 in South Korea

Seoul, May 26 (EFE/EPA).- South Korean telecommunications operator SK Telecom, together with Omron Electronics Korea, has developed a 5G-powered autonomous robot to enable a systematic and efficient response against the COVID-19. The robot can carry out activities such as contactless temperature screenings using a thermal imaging camera, disinfection of the building and dispensing hand sanitizer. (Camera: JEON HEON-KYUN).
