Quezon City, May 26 (EFE/EPA).- Women registered under the category of nursing mothers on Tuesday received 2,000 pesos ($39) worth of cash subsidy at a school which has been turned into financial aid center in Metro Manila. Public schools could remain closed to physical classes until the month of August, or until various levels of quarantine are lifted in the country, following orders from President Rodrigo Duterte prohibiting face-to-face school classes until a vaccine becomes available against COVID-19.
