Reporters take mandatory COVID-19 test before covering Chinese foreign minister's presser

Beijing, May 24 (EFE).-Beijing, May 24 (EFE).- A group of 20 foreign reporters and cameramen on Sunday took an obligatory COVID-19 test and was put in a 6-hour quarantine while waiting for their results, as part of the security measures ahead of a press conference held by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing, according to an EFE/EPA journalist on the ground.The press conference was held in the framework of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on May 21 and the National People's Congress (NPC) on May 22, considered the two most important political meetings in China.
