Italy reopens borders, though Covid-19 cases continue to rise

While Italy reopens borders to European tourists from today, the spectre of Covid-19 looms large. FRANCE 24 correspondent Seema Gupta says the country recorded 55 deaths on Tuesday, and 318 new cases. Italy was the first European country to be hit hard by the coronavirus and has officially reported more than 33,000 deaths since the outbreak began.
