Empty parks in Baghdad amid coronavirus pandemic

Baghdad, May 27 (EFE / EPA) .- Baghdad's parks remain empty due to the restrictions that Iraq has adopted to contain the coronavirus pandemic. Iraqi authorities have imposed new measures to limit the spread of the disease, including a national curfew, the isolation with concrete of infected neighborhoods, and the sterilization of affected areas.Iraq has so far registered 5,135 cases of coronavirus and 175 deaths from the disease.
