Atlanta (USA), Jun 13 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Erik Lesser) A group of people gathered around a restaurant in Atlanta on Saturday (Georgia, USA) to protest against the death of a black man in an incident with the police that is being investigated.The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has investigated nearly fifty similar cases so far this year.FOOTAGE OF THE PROTEST.
Dozens of protesters marched through the streets of Charlotte on Sunday, for the sixth day running following the fatal police shooting of a 43-year-old black man named Keith Lamont Scott. The National Guards as well as police were deployed to secure the area, including a helicopter, riot police on buses, as well as officers on bicycles and golf cars. At least one person was arrested during the peaceful protest and activists were forced to march on the sidewalk as they made their way to the city centre.
Demonstrators took to the streets in Minneapolis on Sunday after police shot a black man suspected of assault. Linda So reports.
