France’s gvt ‘has well managed post-lockdown measures but not the early Covid-19 crisis’

Description

France has further relaxed lockdown measures that were in place to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, with travel restrictions lifted and bars and restaurants reopening. According to Ariane Bogain, a lecturer in French and politics at the Northumbria University in Newcastle, the French government has “managed pretty well the post-lockdown measures”, but the “early crisis was very badly managed, with lockdown being decided too late”, she added.
