Santo Domingo, Sep 29 (EFE).- A series of restrictions barring undocumented workers in the Dominican Republic left thousands of Haitians in the air since Wednesday, as well as the companies that employ these immigrants.The Dominican Government granted a period of three months for companies to comply with labor and immigration laws, especially the rule that establishes that 80 percent of the workers must be Dominicans.
