Hot dogs were invented because they are cheap, easy to make, quick, and delicious. Well, one hot dog in Swizterland is quick, easy to make, and delicious, but most definitely not cheap. Visitors to Zurich's Christmas market, could try a taste of the luxurious version of the Danish Heissihond hot dog, which costs 250 Swiss Francs, or just under $250 per hot dog. What makes this sausage special? Well, it's made from Japanese Kobe beef and paired with Cristal-Roederer sauce and white Alba truffles The owners say they sell about 30 of the special dogs per year, but for those not willing to splash out so much cash on a hot dog, a mini-version called the 'Scheisserchen' is also on offer and costs only about 6 bucks.
