    ŠKODA is continuing the tradition of its performance RS models in the fourth-generation OCTAVIA too. This iteration, however, is the first in which the Czech car manufacturer is offering three different drive systems: in addition to the OCTAVIA RS versions with either a petrol or a diesel engine, the OCTAVIA RS iV – the brand’s first RS plug-in hybrid – is now being launched. Both the 2.0 TSI OCTAVIA RS and the OCTAVIA RS iV have an output of 180 kW (245 PS). The 2.0 TDI produces 147 kW (200 PS) and is the only model in the RS range to be available with all-wheel drive on request. All three variants feature sporty bodywork detailing including RS-typical black touches. The interior, with its traditional and dynamic design, is also predominantly black.

The drive portfolio is now more diverse than ever, with petrol and diesel engines as well as plug-in hybrid drive and five powertrain combinations.For the fourth model generation, three engine options and five drive combinations are available for the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS for the first time. The OCTAVIA RS with a 2.0 TSI petrol engine delivers 180 kW (245 hp) and is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG. With the direct-shift gearbox, the OCTAVIA RS accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The output of the 2.0 TDI in the current model generation is 147 kW (200 hp) combined with a 7-speed DSG as standard. The OCTAVIA RS 2.0 TDI is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive as an option. For the first time, ŠKODA is also offering the model with plug-in hybrid drive. A 1.4 TSI petrol engine and an electric motor generate a system output of 180 kW (245 hp) for the OCTAVIA RS iV, with a 6-speed DSG transmitting the power to the front wheels.

Available to order from 17 January 2023, the ENYAQ iV vRS follows in the wheel tracks of the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV vRS launched earlier this year, and offers increased practicality alongside sporty performance and striking design.Priced from £52,670 OTR, the new ENYAQ iV vRS is fitted with an 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack and has a WLTP driving range of 321 miles. Like the COUPÉ version, the SUV variant has a power output of 299PS and is equipped with twin motors – one on each axle. Combined, the motors deliver 460Nm of torque to give instant acceleration and a powerful mid-range response.As befits the sporting flagship of the ENYAQ iV range, the new vRS features a bespoke chassis set up designed to deliver an even more responsive driving experience.     ŠKODA AUTO presents the ENYAQ RS iV: With the new top version of the battery-electric SUV, ŠKODA AUTO is expanding its sporty RS family with a second purely battery-electric model alongside the ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV. The Czech car manufacturer is thus giving its electric offensive a further boost. Three more completely new electric models will follow by 2026 alone. The aim is to offer the entire electric product range from small cars to 7-seaters and to increase the BEV share of deliveries in Europe to over 70 percent by 2030. Just like the coupe variant, the ENYAQ RS iV also has two electric motors with a total system output of 220 kW and all-wheel drive, the range is more than 500 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. A maximum charging capacity of 135 kW enables even faster charging at suitable charging stations. In addition to the two design selections RS Lounge and RS Suite and comprehensive standard and safety equipment, ŠKODA offers the two new option packages Advanced and Maxx for the ENYAQ RS iV for an even clearer structure.
