Miya Ponsetto, 22, said on CBS This Morning. The interview was conducted Thursday, hours before Ponsetto was arrested in California in connection with the Dec. 26 confrontation with 14-year-old Keyon Harrold Jr., the AP reports. Ponsetto was charged Saturday in New York with attempted robbery, grand larceny, acting in a manner injurious to a child and two counts of attempted assault, city police reported. Mayim Bialik is back in a new show called "Call Me Kat." Bialik's show is on Fox. It's about a woman named Kat who opens a Cat Cafe. The show is getting abysmal reviews. CNN's Brian Lowry says the show is "tired", "dated", "predictable", "a big bore", "tedious."
Dancing with the Stars has wrapped their current season and crowned the 2020 winner. One celebrity dancer and their partner have claimed the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. "Bachelor" alum Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev were chosen as the new champions Monday. Bristowe and her partner performed an encore of their Argentine Tango to "Toxic" by Britney Spears to secure the win. The winning duo also danced to "Sparkling Diamonds" from "Moulin Rouge" on their final night. The results came as a shock to many, who had assumed "Catfish" host Nev Schulman and pro Jenna Johnson would take the title.
Conan O'Brien's late-night show on TBS is coming to a close. Fans have enjoyed O'Brien's late-night antics for over ten years. WarnerMedia announced on Tuesday the talk show will be wrapped up this June. The late-night television host will be moving onto host a new show on HBO. O'Brien is bringing a new weekly variety series to HBO Max. No word yet on when the new show will hit the airwaves.
Queen guitarist Brian May has said he is "grateful" to be alive. The rock icon suffered a heart attack, a stomach hemorrhage and other health complications this year. In May, the musician revealed that he suffered from a heart attack that he believed he "could have died" from. According to CNN, May was taken to the hospital, where he had three blocked arteries. He said he was treated by medics as an "emergency case," and opted to have three stents put in. On Tuesday, the musician told television show Good Morning Britain he was grateful to be alive.
