Cathay Pacific traffic figures down 98% in September

Hong Kong, Oct 19 (EFE/EPA).- Cathay Pacific is set to announce this week a restructuring plan that will include layoffs and pay cuts, in a bid to keep the company afloat amid the coronavirus pandemic.According to traffic figures released by the Airport Authority for September 2020, the airport handled 100,000 passengers and 10,535 flight movements, representing year-on-year decreases of 97.9 percent and 68.5 percent, respectively.
