Hong Kong to shut all schools after record of coronavirus cases, FRANCE 24’s Oliver Farry reports

Hong Kong announced it is closing its schools from Monday, after a spike in coronavirus cases there. The territory reported more than 40 locally transmitted cases there – the highest daily tally in more than three months. Public high schools were close in January amid the early stages of the outbreak and were gradually reopening from May, but new clusters have emerged in recent days, as FRANCE 24’s Hong Kong correspondent Oliver Farry reports.

  • India reports new record of Covid-19 deaths while daily cases subside
