Singapore extends restrictions to curb coronavirus pandemic

Singapore, Apr 22 (EFE/EPA).- Singapore extended its 'circuit breaker' period to June 1 and will further tighten existing measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The government will impose entry limits on supermarkets and street markets, temperature screening to malls, and the closure of non-essential businesses. Singapore has so far registered 10,141 infections and 11 deaths derived from COVID-19.
