France brings home 10 jihadists’ children from Syrian camp

Description

The French government said Monday it had repatriated 10 French children of suspected jihadist fighters from a refugee camp in Syria overnight. Thousands of children of foreign-born fighters have been living in camps in north-eastern Syria since the Islamic State group was ousted in March 2019. A total of 28 children have now been repatriated to France, a fraction of the 300 thought to still reside in refugee camps in the war-torn country.
