Brussels, Jun 8 (EFE) .- (Camera: Leopoldo Rodríguez) Belgium began phase 3 of its de-escalation on Monday with the reopening of bars and restaurants, becoming the second to last country in the European Union (EU), only ahead of Ireland, in allowing the hospitality industry to reopen.FOOTAGE OF BARS AND RESTAURANTS IN BRUSSELS.SOUNDBITES OF Tim Jakaj.Translation:1.- "It was very clear to us that we had to open but it depends a lot on the neighbourhood and how much space one has. I understand people who have not opened because it is not always so obvious."2.- "I trust scientists and politicians, sometimes they have to make difficult decisions. In general, I think they have managed this crisis well and were right in doing what they did."3.- "We have started very early, we have been cleaning, painting and making all the changes for 20 days. Today we are happy, the clients are here and we are happy to see friends and people. We are happy."
