The crowd heard impassioned speeches from actors Susan Sarandon and Danny Glover, who backed Sanders throughout his ultimately unsuccessful bid for Democratic presidential nomination.
Thousands rallied in Philadelphia on Sunday in support of Senator Bernie Sanders just one day ahead of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) that is due to take place in the same city.
