Colombo, Aug 1 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Chamila Karunarathne) Colombo Muslims held a special prayer for Eid Al-Adha respecting the measures imposed to stop the spread of Covid-19 in the public garden of Galle Face Green. Eid Al-Adha is the holiest festival in Islam and marks the pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj). During Eid, Muslims sacrifice an animal and divide the meat into three parts, one for the family, one for friends and one for those in need.FOOTAGE OF THE PRAYERS
