The new era is also fully electric.The CUPRA Born integrates the most advanced pure electric powertrain technology: a choice of 150PS (110kW) or 204PS (150kW) electric engines deliver energy to the rear wheels, coupled to a high-performance lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of up to 58kWh provides an enormous range of around 420km. CUPRA reveals the design secret of the CUPRA DarkRebel and makes its vision of the automotive future come true. The concept vehicle embodies the maximum provocation of the CUPRA design language and sets new standards in design and performance. It is the first vehicle designed entirely in CUPRA virtual space for a future generation of drivers.The CUPRA DarkRebel Showcar is the result of more than 270,000 configurations by the CUPRA Tribe, which also includes brand ambassadors such as FC Barcelona players Alexia Putellas, Marc ter Stegen and actor Daniel Brühl. The data collected in the online hyperconfigurator flowed into the final design of the CUPRA DarkRebel show car, which has now found its way from the virtual to the real world with the unveiling of the physical version at the IAA MOBILITY in Munich.The result is an all-electric, two-seat, shooting-brake sports car that reflects the passion and disruptive mindset of the CUPRA brand. Examples of this are a mysterious, mercury-like exterior color, the innovative use of light as a tactile material and a more consistent focus on sustainability.

Derived directly from the Tavascan showcar unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2019, where it was presented as “the brand’s dream”, it brings the disruptive and unique vision of an all-electric future to the market.The CUPRA Tavascan takes the brand’s electrification journey in a new direction with an exponential impulse to create emotional vehicles that break conventional rules and deliver for a new generation of car lovers.The CUPRA Tavascan brings together a fully electric SUV coupe that merges desirability and instantaneous performance. The SUV coupe embodies CUPRA’s electrified vision while remaining faithful to the 2019 concept car.

This new version is a tribute to the competition CUP models, and adds a new dimension to the Spanish compact, both with a 5-door body and the Sportstourer estate.This finish increases the dynamic behavior of the CUPRA León with the addition of semi-slick Bridgestone Potenza Race tyres, (available as standard on the TSI petrol versions), and the Brembo braking system. Likewise, its design also provides an even more sporty and emotional character with the integration of different elements. New Matrix LED headlights as standard, increase effectiveness at night.Its exterior design is more radical by integrating 48 cm (19’’) wheels in black and Copper tones, CUPRA side skirts, or the carbon fiber rear spoiler (for the 5-door version) as standard. The cabin is now more emotional thanks to the great presence of the new CUPBucket sports seats with a truly sporty look, the steering wheel with satellite buttons, Copper stitching all over the dashboard, and the opening panoramic roof.
