GOP Governor Candidate Spreading Conspiracy Theories on Opponent

A Republican running for governor in the state of Michigan is reportedly using unfounded conspiracy theories against a Muslim-American opponent. Patrick Colbeck, currently a state Senator in Michigan’s 7th district, made the remarks about Dr. Abdul El-Sayed at an event held earlier this month. In his remarks, Colbeck can be heard saying, "Dr. Abdul El-Sayed's parents apparently have ties to Muslim Brotherhood back in Egypt. This is scary stuff.
