Meghan Markle Confirms Father Won't Attend Wedding

Meghan Markle confirmed on Thursday that her father will not attend her wedding to Prince Harry. The couple will tie the knot on Saturday at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Markle’s father, Thomas, had been set to walk his daughter down the aisle, but he told TMZ earlier this week that he would not be able to attend due to a heart surgery. Meghan said in a statement, “Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health." Meghan's mother Doria Ragland will be in attendance.
